Soft Plum + Copper Glam

Soft plum eyes, touches of luminous copper and a statement lip come together for a polished look that still lets the skin look like skin. Follow these pro-artist steps using sh.cosmetics.

FACE + SKIN

  • Prep the skin. Begin with sh.cosmetics Anti-Aging Moisturizer to hydrate and soften the complexion, creating a smooth canvas for makeup.

  • Roll Awaken Eye Serum around the under-eye area to hydrate and refresh tired-looking eyes. Gently tap any excess into the skin.

  • Mist with Rosewater Face Mist for an extra layer of hydration and a fresh, dewy finish.

  • Apply Radiance Tinted Moisturizer over the face and blend down the neck to softly even the complexion while allowing the skin's natural radiance to show through.

  • For dark under-eye circles, apply Camouflage Cover Crème only where correction is needed. Follow with Perfect Concealer over the corrected area and on any blemishes or imperfections.

  • Lightly buff Baked Mineral Foundation over the complexion with the sh. Kabuki Brush for additional coverage and a beautifully smooth finish.

  • Finish with a light veil of HD Finishing Powder, concentrating through the T-zone and anywhere you want to perfect the complexion and extend wear.

PRO ARTIST SECRET: Keep complexion products light and build only where you need them. Layering thin amounts creates a more natural, skin-like finish than applying heavy coverage all at once.

CHEEKS + GLOW

  • Sweep Mineral Highlight Bronzer along the cheekbones and lightly around the perimeter of the face to add warmth and dimension.

  • Blend a touch of Bronze Lights Highlight + Bronzing Stick onto the high points of the cheeks for a soft, sun-kissed glow.

  • Add a subtle touch of Lip + Cheek Veil to the apples of the cheeks and blend outward for a fresh flush of color.

EYES + BROWS

  • Line the upper and lower lash lines with Pure Plum Mineral Eye Crayon. Keep the color close to the lashes and softly smudge the edges for a more effortless, diffused finish.

  • Apply the Lilac Love Trio Shadow Palette, blending the medium shade across the eyelid and softly underneath the outer half of the lower lash line.

  • Blend the deepest shade through the crease and outer corner of the eye to create soft definition and dimension.

  • Sweep the lightest shade beneath the brow bone and around the inner corner of the eye to subtly brighten.

  • Press Copper Bronze Mineral Eye Shimmer onto the center of the lid. Add just a touch beneath the lower lash line to catch the light without overpowering the plum tones.

  • Apply two coats of Ultimate Volume + Length Clean Mascara to the upper lashes and a light coat to the lower lashes.

  • Finish by defining and shaping the brows with Mineral Brow Pencil, using light strokes that follow the natural direction of the brow hairs.

PRO ARTIST TIP: Plum is a beautiful alternative to traditional black or brown eye makeup. Paired with copper, it creates warmth and dimension while making the eyes stand out.

LIPS

  • Line and softly fill the entire lip with Cinnabar Mineral Lip Crayon. Filling in the lip creates a base for richer color and helps extend wear.

  • Apply lipstay  over the top for a sophisticated statement lip.

  • For added dimension and shine, finish with a touch of Mint Cherry Gloss concentrated through the center of the lips.
