Probiotic mask - exfoliating & anti-aging
1/2 c. organic yogurt 
1 T. organic honey
1/4 T. organic oatmeal 

How you do it:
blend all ingrediants except for cucumber by hand or in blender. 
Slice cucumber into 1/4 inch slices.
Apply mask to face and 2 sliced cucumber slices to the eyes.  Relax for 20 minutes while enjoying your snack, eating the left over cucumbers. Then remove the cucumbers from the eyes and wipe mask off with a warm washcloth.  A Perfect fix for your skin in between seasons.   Leaving your skin ultra baby soft! The probiotics in this mask will keep your skin exfoliating over time as you use it.  2 x a week is great for all skintypes.  
Youthful glowing skin
organic jojoba oil
organic rosehip oil
organic rose essential oil

How you do it: 

 1-oz bottle 

Fill your small bottle just under 2/3 of the way with your jojoba base oi

Add your nourishing organic rosehip essential oil until the bottle is just about full.

Add 4-7 drops of rose essential oil. You should be able to smell it, but it should not be overpowering. Just faintly identifiable.

 Rosehip seed oil is powerfully nourishing and anti-aging as well as joboba oil.  Your skin will love it and eat it up! 

whipped hibiscus moisturizer for soft silky skin
1 T hibiscus tea
1 cup organic coconut oil 

How you do it:
Measure out the hibiscus tea and use a coffee grinder to crush it into a fine powder.

Bring 2 inches of water to a boil in a small saucepan. Reduce the heat to low and warm the coconut oil in a small heat-proof glass bowl in the pan.

Stir in the hibiscus powder with a spoon, then cover and simmer on the lowest heat setting for 1 hour.

Use cheesecloth to strain the tea out of the oil over a medium bowl. Let the oil cool until it’s almost solid.

Whip with a mixer on medium for 3 to 5 minutes; you’ll end up with a pretty pink cream. Transfer to a lidded glass jar.  Use within 6 months and enjoy!

1 T organic coconut oil
1 T organic lemon juice 

How you do it:
Combine  & mix both ingredients.  Massage and apply to face, leave on overnight.  In the morning wash off with warm water. 
If you have dark spots, pigmentation problems, uneven skin tone, dark circles then lemon and almond oil mask is worth trying. Both the products are known for the “lightening and brightening” benefits.



1/4 cup coconut oil

1 tablespoon ginger, coarsely chopped

1/4 cup cold-pressed oil (olive, jojoba, sunflower, or almond oil)

3/4 cup granulated or turbinado sugar

1/4 cup kosher salt

1-4 drops lemongrass essential oil

1-4 drops ginger essential oil


How do you do it:

In a small saucepan over low heat heat the coconut oil and ginger pieces. Continue heating for 5-10 minutes until ginger scent and juice has transferred into the oil. Remove from heat and press through a fine mesh sieve or through a coffee filter or remove pieces.


While the oil is still warm, mix together with other oil. Stir to combine and allow to come to room temperature. Stir in sugar and salt. Scent with essential oils as desired. Pack into a container.


To Use: Massage into damp skin and allow to sit 2-4 minutes. Using a washcloth covered in warm water, steam over face or stand in a steamy shower for a minute. Using the wet washcloth, wipe excess from skin. Rinse and repeat until oil is washed away.

Use this to exfoliate every other week or so in the winter on your face as a way to rejuvenate the skin and shed dead skin cells. It’s like a homemade facial!

exfoliant & moisturizer

1 c brown sugar
1/2 c cocout oil
1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean
1 t dried lavender buds(optional)
7 drops lavender essential oil

How you do it:
Combine all ingredients.  Add desired amount of lavender drops.
Scoop a small amount of scrub into wet hands. Apply to area and scrub in circular motions until most of sugar dissolves. Wash off with warm water.  You can use it on your body, feet, face & lips! 
Use this scrub no more than 1-2 times a week.
super exfoliant & antioxidant 

1 T baking soda
1/2 T manuka honey
3 drops lavender essential oil

How you do it:
  • Combine the baking soda and honey together until it looks like a paste.  Add three drop each of lavender.
  • Place a warm washcloth over your face and hold on skin for a minute or so to open up your pores.
  • Gently rub face with facial scrub using small circular motions (be gentle with your skin!).  Keep massaging skin with scrub for 3-5 minutes to fully remove dead skin from face and to let the essential oils work their magic.
  • Rinse off with warm water.
  • Use this scrub no more than 1-2 times a week.

This scrub is alkaline to the skin, so to even out your pH it is a good idea to splash your face with rosewater afterwards.  This will naturally balance your skin.


super antioxidant and astringent 

fill 3/4 with green tea
few drops of neroli essential oil
few drops of jajoba oil
fill with witch hazel

How you do it:

Add all ingredients to a spray bottle, shake and spray! You will love the way it smells and makes your skin feel and look.  Apply anytime you want to refresh your skin!

summer refreshing mask
Summers make your skin oily and open pores.  This makes you look tired and exausted all times.  Strawberries contain salicylic acid, which is great for breakouts.  Lemon juice tightens the skin pores and refreshes your skin!


5 organic strawberries 
2 T organic lemon juice 
1 T organic yogurt
1 T organic honey

How you do it:

Mash strawberries and combine all other ingrediants. Apply to clean skin and leave on for 20 minutes.  Remove with warm wet washcloth to reveal, refreshed vibrant skin! 

Natural thicker longer hair serum
Castor oil can be used on the eyelashes, eyebrows and the scalp to help prevent and remedy hair loss as well as thicken hair, and it is effective at this for several reasons. It’s antibacterial and anti fungal properties make it beneficial against dandruff and scalp infections and its content helps increase circulation to the scalp and improve hair growth.


3 T organic castor oil 

1 T organic jojoba oil

How you do it:

Combine two oils.  Dampen hair.  

Rub a tiny amount of castor oil on eyelids, eyebrows or any hair that is thin.   Apply treatment overnight and wash off in the am.  Use 2x a week.  Thicker lush hair brows and lashes! 

coconut Sugar Face Scrub

Exfoliating helps remove the dead skin cells and other remaining impurities. It also helps keep my complexion clear and my skin looking healthy and there are many additional benefits to Coconut palm sugar, it contains minerals such as potassium, calcium, iron and zinc and Organic Coconut oil is moisturizing.


1 T organic coconut oil

T organic coconut palm sugar

How you do it:

Combine coconut oil and sugar in a small bowl, and stir to combine.  Rub sugar face scrub into clean facial or neck skin, using gentle circular motions, for 60 seconds.  Rinse dry with warm water.   Clearer healthy looking skin!


Rose petal infused honey mask

 Honey is incredibly healing with potent enzymes for rejuvenation and clearing the skin and is rich in moisturizing properties. Lemons tone the skin as well and lighten any scars.


 1 jar of desired size

2 Tbs of rose petals (I prefer organic)

Raw organic honey to fill the jar

Juice of 1 lemon

 How you do it:

 Add your roses to cleaned jar. Then add juice of one lemon and pour honey over filling to the top of the jar. Stir, cap, and use when desired or gift to someone you love.

Apply a thin layer to face and leave on for 20 minutes. Remove with damp washcloth. You will notice a beautiful glow to your skin in one application!


Relieve tired hands naturally

This recipe is great for sore wrists, tired, fingers & hands & arthritic hands, but don’t use it on broken/cracked skin, and take care to keep your fingers out of your eyes and nostrils after you’ve applied it! Bonus! This is a natural hand sanitizer as well.


In a 2 1/2 oz. spray bottle mix 1 oz. purified water, 1/2 oz of olive oil & jojoba oil with 15 drops each of the following organic essential oils, peppermint, lavender, red thyme and rosemary oil.  


Shake up the ingredients, spray and let the magic relief happen!  

Essential oils are so effective because they by-pass the digestive system and become absorbed directly into the blood stream. With millenniums of successful use, they not only provide enticing, awakening and pleasant aromas, they help fight pain by reducing inflammation, anxiety and stress. Peppermint: Cools and calms the mind with additional anti-inflammatory and pain relieving benefits.  Lavender: Relaxes and balances the body, with anti-inflammatory benefits.  Red Thyme:  Fights fatigue and a natural disinfectant.  Rosemary:  Keeps the mind alert and can help with muscle soreness.

Organic coffee & coconut scrub
Simple at home skin firming, detoxing and moisturizing body scrub.    
Mix 1/4 c. coffee grinds with 1/2 c. coconut oil.  
Gently rub onto the body, leave on for 10-20 mins which allows the detox firming properties to work.  Rinse off.  
After scrub your skin will instantly, become firmer and 

 look and feel soft and beautiful to the touch.

DIY natural teeth whitener

Whiten your smile naturally with a secret makeup artist tip & an organic DIY recipe.  A simple alterative to chemical teeth whiteners and strips that’s beneficial to you & your smile.  


1/8 t Organic turmeric powder

2 T organic coconut oil


  1. Wet your toothbrush and dip it in 1/8 teaspoon turmeric powder. Brush teeth as normal, but instead of rinsing when you’re done allow the turmeric to sit on your teeth for 5 minutes so that it can do it’s magic. 
  1. Add coconut oil to the mixture & swish around for 10 mins then, spit and rinse thoroughly, then follow with a brushing using your regular toothpaste. 

You may notice a difference with the first application. If not, give it a few days to a week – if you’re skeptical I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

  1. Follow up with a tint of red to your lips, instantly makes your lips appear whiter. For a perfect sheer tint of red try mint cherry gloss. Bonus it looks great on every skin tone alone or over your favorite lip shade.
DIY black head remover 
Here is how to remove blackheads a natural way.  Start with a clean dry face.  
Simply pour 1 t honey & 1 t cinnamon
mixed together on your fingers and start rapidly patting the areas on your face where you want to remove blackheads. Leave on for 5 mins.  The honey will stick to the stuff in your pores, and pull it out as you remove your fingers. It will also offer gentle antibacterial and antioxidant support, so any small remnants that may be left in your pores won’t oxidize (and turn black) quite as quickly.
Continue doing this for 3 or so minutes, and then just rinse your face with water.
DIY organic green tea and honey rejuvenating face and lip exfoliator 

Exfoliate, detox and rejuvenate the skin!   Green tea and honey, both which have amazing health benefits; powerful antioxidant and anti-aging wonders for the skin and body inside and out. And after you brew and apply this easy exfoliate on your skin you can enjoy a cup of tea!


2 T organic green tea (after you brew tea)

2 T sugar


Mix it well all the ingredients above, and then apply to your face like you would a scrub. Leave the DIY scrub on for about 15 minutes, so all those detoxifying goodness gets soaked into those pores, and then gently scrub and rinse with warm water.

Your skin will feel soft, smooth and rejuvenated. Do this DIY scrub routine once or twice a week and you’ll soon see improvement in the texture and tone of your skin. Add you have a three-in-one detoxifier for your body, face, and lips!


DIY Makeup Remover
As a makeup artist I often get asked what is the best makeup/eye makeup remover. So I wanted to share my secret recipe for gentle, organic, cruelty free DIY makeup removel. 
1 cup filtered water
1 1/2 Tbsp. Cruelty- and tear-free baby shampoo (the honest company’s shampoo & body wash I like to use)
1/4 tsp. jojoba oil
Combine all the ingredients in a glass bottle and close with a cork, I picked this one up at a local antique store.
Shake well.
Apply the remover with cotton pads or your hands. Rinse with cold water. Walaa, makeup remover that makes for a lovely day ☺ 

Organic Honey and tumeric face mask
For-radiant skin, to detox and heal blemishes Honey, my friends is amazing. Purifying and great for detox.
Mix a table spoon of honey with 1/8 of a teaspoon of turmeric.
. Leave on for twenty minutes, interesting because it does have a slight heating sensation, which is the purifying properties at work.
After a mask skin is so radiant, and it heals blemishes super-quick, too! Disinfecting and anti-inflammatory, Bonus!
DIY Organic body and face scrub
Soft skin, vitamin enriched goodness.
Mix 1 c brown sugar with 1/2 cupt of coconut oil(make sure its liquidfied) 1 tsp of vit E and 1tsp vanilla extract.
This can get messy so I recommend you apply in the shower.
 Rub on body and face let sit for 5 mins and rinse.  Ahhh...soft smooth radiant skin.
DIY organic remedy & a lip tint all in one
dollop of shea butter -2 drops of olive oil -5 drops peppermint essential oil -2 drops of vitamin E -for a tinted balm add 1 tsp beat juice or Alkanet root powder
 In a small pot, or double boiler, over super low heat melt all the ingredients. Stir until just melte and pour into a favorite little container. Enjoy this recipe!  

DIY organic after shave & body lotion
After shave and body lotion for the most sensitive skin.  This quick absorbing formula is designed to calm and soothe the skin after shaving.
1/2 c coconut oil
8tb shea butter
2 t jojoba oil
15 drops tea trea oil
15 drops lavender or cedar oil 
Hand mix until you create a silky smooth consistancy
 Organic Jojoba, Coconut Oil and shea butter provides the skin with long-lasting hydration and helps prevent dryness. 


DIY organic honey & avacado dry skin mask

Avocado is an excellent choice for making homemade face masks for dry skin, as it contains lots of good for you oils. Since your only need half of the avocado, you can eat the other half and give your skin a boost from the inside as well!  A natural way to prep and moisturize the skin before protecting it with natural makeup


½ ripe avocado and ¼ cup of honey


Mash the avocado in a bowl and stir in the honey.  Apply to skin and leave on for 10 minutes.  Rinse face with a cool washcloth.


DIY sweet lip scrub
Three simple natural organic ingredients that exfoliate (organic sugar) moisturize (organic coconut oil), leaving your lips enticingly soft while satisfying your sweet tooth (honey) at the same time! Scrub this DIY over your lips (be sure to lick off the excess) it exfoliates lips smooth, prepping them for your favorite sh. cosmetics color or gloss.

 Mix together, 1 tsp. honey, 3T organic coconut oil and 3T organic sugar together


Mix all together & pply a little bit of product on your lips, then slowly rub lips together to exfoliate for 5-10 seconds, get a wet napkin and wipe the scrub off. And don’t worry its ok to lick off this product it’s actually safe to eat and that's because its ingredients are all natural!

Results: this scrub exfoliates your lips so perfectly that immediately when you rub your lips together you already feel the softness and smoothness of your lips even after using this scrub after 1 time!
